About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Specialist, Resource Management to join our operations team. In this role, you will support day-to-day workforce planning, capacity forecasting, operational process maintenance, and financial tracking for assigned teams. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate data, efficient scheduling, and compliance with established processes — enabling our teams to deliver projects smoothly and on time.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills- 3-5 years’ experience in resource management, operations coordination, or capacity planning.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, resource planning tools, or similar systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Understanding financial tracking and forecasting processes is an asset.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive outcomes.
- Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions regarding resource assignment, utilization and gap analysis between resource managers and leaders
Responsibilities
Key ResponsibilitiesResource Management & Capacity Planning
- Manage workforce planning and utilization tracking for assigned teams.
- Prepare capacity forecasts using provided inputs and historical data.
- Monitor workloads and escalate risks or gaps to the Resource Manager or Director.
- Prepare quarterly resourcing data and reports for leadership review.
- Proactively adjust plans within approved parameters to ensure demand is met.
Operational & Process Excellence
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational plans.
- Participate in operational reviews, providing data and observations to support improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with established processes, escalating exceptions when necessary.
Financial Planning & Oversight
- Track actual labour hours and costs in established systems.
- Prepare variance reports for review by Finance or Delivery leads.
- Enter and monitor contractor time and invoices.
- Support validation of project and resourcing forecasts by providing accurate data.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely and accurate workforce planning and utilization reports.
- Capacity forecasts delivered on schedule with minimal errors.
- Compliance issues identified and escalated promptly.
- Accurate and timely financial tracking and reporting.
- Contractor invoices processed on schedule.
Benefits
