Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Big Bend Sector, Mission Readiness Operations Division, Workforce Management, located in Marfa, TX. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above. This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10) As a Supervisory Mission Support Specialist, your typical job assignments will include: Supervising a group of administrative employees responsible for assessing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations. Identifying and implementing ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative services. Planning, assigning, and adjusting work priorities for subordinates to ensure timely completion of tasks. Evaluating work performance, providing guidance, and counseling employees on work and administrative matters. Interviewing candidates, recommending personnel actions, and resolving employee complaints and minor disciplinary issues.
