What you'll do

The Senior Manager, Account Management International is responsible for leading a team of Renewal Managers focused on retaining and growing recurring revenue across an assigned segment or region. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines people management, operational excellence, and commercial strategy to drive strong renewal outcomes, minimize attrition, and strengthen long-term customer partnerships. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales or customer revenue leader with a strong understanding of SaaS renewals, subscription contracting, and customer lifecycle management. They are skilled at developing high-performing teams, driving forecast accuracy, improving renewal processes, and partnering cross-functionally to resolve risk and unlock growth opportunities. This leader will play a key role in scaling the renewal function, coaching talent, and ensuring the team delivers strong financial performance while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

 

This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Manager, Account Management International.

 

Responsibility

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Renewal Managers responsible for executing renewals across an assigned territory, segment, or region

  • Drive team performance against key financial metrics, including gross retention, net retention, churn, and forecast accuracy

  • Build a high-performing, accountable, and customer-focused team culture

  • Inspect renewal pipeline health and maintain visibility into risks, opportunities, and business trends across the team's portfolio

  • Partner with Renewal Managers on high-priority, strategic, or complex renewals to improve customer and commercial outcomes

  • Establish clear operating rhythms for pipeline inspection, forecast reviews, deal strategy, and performance management

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Pricing, Legal, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Product Management to resolve renewal risk and improve execution

  • Identify patterns in churn, contraction, and expansion to inform proactive strategies and improve retention outcomes

  • Drive adoption of best practices across opportunity management, Salesforce hygiene, quoting, forecasting, and renewal workflows

  • Hire, onboard, and develop talent, ensuring the team has the skills and support needed to succeed

  • Use data and team insights to recommend process improvements, resource needs, and strategic actions to leadership

  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution and scale of the renewal function, including playbooks, coverage models, and performance standards

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring

Basic

  • 12+ years related experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Renewal Management, Account Management, Customer Success, Sales, or a related customer-facing commercial function

  • 2+ years of experience leading or coaching individual contributors in a quota-carrying or revenue-focused environment

  • Experience managing and improving performance against retention, revenue or similar commercial metrics

  • Experience leading forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy discussions

  • Experience navigating complex customer and commercial situations through cross-functional collaboration

  • Experience influencing both internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience leading renewal or post-sales revenue teams in a SaaS or subscription-based business

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong coaching and performance management skills

  • Strong operational discipline, including forecasting, process management, and CRM rigor

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen

  • Ability to adapt quickly and lead effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • High sense of urgency, organization, and prioritization
