Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Employee Health RN, you will serve as a critical clinician, safeguarding the well-being of our dedicated staff and fostering a healthy, thriving workplace community through expert assessment and intervention.Every day you will deliver comprehensive occupational health services, including complex pre-employment screenings, immunizations, acute injury assessment and management, case management, and proactive health education for our employees.To be successful in this role you will combine advanced clinical expertise with exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills, a compassionate approach, and a proactive commitment to promoting the health and safety of our valued employees, ultimately contributing to a healthier and stronger organization.

  • Performs new hire occupational health assessment through employee interviews to determine current occupational health status.
  • Oversees and maintains employee health records, and tracks employee compliance.
  • Arranges referrals based on established protocols (e.g. allergy testing, hearing testing, ergonomics evaluation, etc).
  • Administers Respiratory Protection Program (inclusive of TB program) and provides screening and surveillance as required by regulatory agencies; oversees site respiratory training.
  • Oversees and administers N95 respirator fit program at work sites.
  • Provides post exposure assessment, management, and follow-up.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and four years of recent related work experience in nursing that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
  • Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Preferred

  • Two years of related work experience in either employee health or employee safety.
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse.
