Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and automation of AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Build and maintain secure, reusable, and scalable infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Design, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Support production SaaS environments with a strong focus on availability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Establish best practices for monitoring, logging, alerting, access management, and operational readiness.
- Partner with engineering teams to align infrastructure solutions with broader platform and product goals.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI tools, agents, and MCP server integrations to improve DevOps workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Design AI-enabled automation workflows that accelerate engineering delivery and improve operational quality.
- Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate technical recommendations clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Promote accountability, quality standards, and delivery excellence across remote engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Deep knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, secrets management, access control, monitoring, and deployment automation.
- Experience supporting production systems with a focus on uptime, reliability, and performance.
- Familiarity with modern application environments, including technologies such as C#/.NET, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and operational tooling.
- Knowledge of AI-driven engineering workflows, AI agents, or MCP server integrations is highly desirable.
- Strong technical judgment, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a remote environment with strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through.

- Competitive base salary range of $155,000–$165,000 CAD depending on experience and qualifications.
