**Job Description Summary** As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Your responsibilities will involve conducting risk assessments, training employees, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. **Job Description** **Essential Responsibilities** + Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations + Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions + Provide EHS training and education to employees, ensuring they understand and comply with safety standards and procedures + Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence + Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement + Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and compliance efforts + Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics and report findings to management + Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement + Participate in emergency response planning and drills + Support sustainability initiatives and environmental stewardship efforts **Required Qualifications** + Master's Degree Engineering - Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field + Proven experience in an EHS role + Knowledge of Italian EHS regulation (D.lgs. 81/2008 and D.lgs 152/2006) and EHS international standards (ISO14001 and ISO45001) + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP + Strong oral and written communication skills + Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks + Fluent Italian and good English knowledge + Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required **Desired Qualifications** + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Why Join Us:** At Avio Aero, people power our progress.
