Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Food & Beverage Waiter/ress, you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Guest Service: Deliver friendly, attentive, and personalized service by welcoming guests, responding promptly to requests and queries, and creating a memorable dining experience.

  • Food and Beverage Service: Accurately take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and serve orders promptly and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, promotions, and beverage offerings to confidently assist guests and make recommendations.

  • Service Station Management: Ensure all floor stations are clean, organized, fully stocked, and prepared with the required mise en place throughout the shift.

  • Quality and Compliance: Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with licensing regulations and comply with all food safety, hygiene, health and safety, fire, and hotel policies.

  • Professional Standards: Maintain Hilton grooming standards, adhere to the uniform policy, and report any operational issues through the appropriate procedures.

The following capabilities and qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
  • Excellent grooming and professional presentation in line with Hilton standards.
  • Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred.
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
