Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between Windchill and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and Oracle Cloud) using Info*Engine, APIs, and middleware platforms.
- Develop and support CAD integrations (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX) including metadata synchronization and lifecycle workflows.
- Implement integrations between PLM, MES, and quality systems to ensure end-to-end manufacturing and engineering data continuity.
- Build REST and SOAP-based services and manage data exchange using Windchill APIs, OData, and custom Java services.
- Develop and operate middleware-based integrations using platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, SAP CPI, or Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Design robust error handling, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms to ensure integration reliability and operational resilience.
- Optimize performance of high-volume data integrations through profiling, tuning, and systematic improvement approaches.
- Lead migration from legacy point-to-point integrations to scalable, event-driven or middleware-based architectures.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and post-go-live hypercare to ensure system stability and continuity.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation, integration standards, and best practices across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in PLM integration development with strong hands-on expertise in PTC Windchill.
- Strong experience with Info*Engine, Windchill Java APIs, and PLM data models.
- Proven experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations with systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, SAP CPI, or Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services, SQL, and enterprise data integration patterns.
- Familiarity with CAD integration workflows and engineering change management processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and documentation skills in complex distributed environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Preferred: experience with ThingWorx, Kafka/event-driven architectures, cloud-hosted Windchill, or integration certifications.
- Competitive salary range of $100,000 – $150,000 annually.
