This position is located onsite in Melbourne, Florida.The Electronics Engineer will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the program.  This person will serve as a junior engineer, supporting Avionics Integration of Aircraft flight deck Systems and will be responsible for one or more of the following:Provide Avionics Integration engineering support for the integration of aircraft flight deck systems and components including Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF), Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), Radio Altimeter, Primary Flight Displays (PFDs), Terrain Avoidance and Warning Systems (TAWS), and other various avionics systemsProvide support for the development of system safety documentsCreate aircraft system schematics to support air vehicle wiring diagramsDevelopment and analysis of requirements and supporting trade studiesManage suppliers, review and analysis of supplier design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration, and support test executionSupport informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements in lab, troubleshooting hardware in the labSupporting flight test activities and post flight data analysis, and resolution of flight test anomaliesA successful Flight Avionics Engineer has good communication skills and understands the scope of the work and the impact of the work on other teams. This individual consistently brings up concerns, issues and risks, and holds themselves to a high level of technical rigorBasic Qualifications:Flight Avionics Engineer Level 2:Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree in a STEM field with 0+ years of relevant experience is requiredMust have Cameo or Doors or similar product experienceMust have an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance level is required with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret ClearanceFlight Avionics Engineer Level 3:Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree in a STEM field with 3+ years of relevant experience is required.Must have Cameo or Doors or similar product experienceExperience with MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429 and Ethernet communication protocolsMust have an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance level is required with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Confluence and Jira Experience Experience with Avionics systemsExperience with system modeling and requirements management tools (Cameo, DOORS, Rhapsody, etc.),...
