As a Supply Chain Program Manager 1​, ​you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. You will be a focal point within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization for the Advanced Communications & Sensing Operating Unit. This position will be 100% on site at our Redondo Beach, CA facility.Responsibilities:Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and subcontract content for a Program or collection of Programs throughout the entire business acquisition process (BAP)Accountable for supply chain program execution including material budget, resource planning, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolutionPrepares basis of estimates (BOE) for bills of material and supply chain (subcontract administration, goods movement, material planning) laborContribute to the preparation of statements of work (SOW) to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are adequately definedSupport the definition of subcontractor management plans and implement novel subcontract strategies to incentivize supplier performance, reduce risk, and mitigate vendor lockEnsure that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategiesReview government requests for proposal (RFP) and requirements documentation to ensure proper flow down to suppliers and subcontractors and to define and implement strategy that aligns with customer award criteria and promotes a Northrop Grumman win themeManages the material and subcontract sales forecast for a given program or collection of programs to drive sales forecast accuracy and achieve AOP targetsEnsures mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers or supply chain executionOversee briefings to the PMO and executive management on program status and any necessary action plans to address issues affecting program supply chain cost and schedule performanceLeads team to drive initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiency, implement improved long term supplier agreementsWork cohesively with leaders in other disciplines such as engineering, operations, quality, and other personnel to manage material performance and ensure delivery of hardware to support production needs within budgetActs as the escalation path for the PMO to address issues in program execution related to the supply...
