Accountant Financial Reporting Poland
Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
Your responsibilities will include:
Process and maintain financial records in compliance with the Group’s policies and procedures and legal requirements.
Process accounting documents according to department’s approved procedures.
Perform account reconciliation and analysis, resolve discrepancies and errors.
Take part in periodical close processes according to schedules and to Department’s approved procedure.
Investigate information that is being submitted by other departments and understand the internal processes of the other departments.
Assist other departments with their respective questions and ad hoc requests.
Assist the Business Unit with ad hoc requests.
Develop and maintain process documentation.
Qualities that would help you to perform in this position:
University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
Experience in controlling, accounting, audit or similar field, preferably within an international work environment.
Good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel) and accounting system background (SAP, Oracle JDE and Longview is an advantage).
Fluent English language skills (oral and writing).
Goal-oriented, proactive, with a high level of responsibility.
Accurate and detailed-oriented.
Ability to work in a changing environment and willingness to grow professionally.
