Senior Tax Analyst (M/F/D)
We have an opportunity for a Sr Tax Analyst to join our Global Tax Group team based in our office in Brno, Czech Republic. You will be providing support for regional tax compliance, reporting and planning responsibilities and will assist with regional tax audit examinations by developing defense strategies and maximizing tax saving opportunities. This role will contribute to shareholder value while fulfilling tax compliance and reporting obligations.

Responsibilities
- Tax Return Compliance – Preparation of tax returns and coordination of tax return preparation by third party service providers, review tax filings to ensure accurate reporting, preparing of working papers and assisting in compilation of data.
- Identify, research, and evaluate alternative tax positions to determine and implement a supportable, cost-effective filing position for tax return filings.
- Tax Audits and Controversies – Assist in responding to requests for information from tax government officials to successfully defend tax filing positions. Interact with current and former business groups to coordinate and implement audit strategies.
- Financial Reporting – Review of annual tax provision and tax provision to return reconciliation for global consolidation.
- Planning Activities – Collaborate with business units to proactively identify and research tax planning opportunities.
- Transfer pricing responsibility for selected jurisdictions in the region both from a compliance and a strategic stanpoint.
- Group rationalization and restructuring - assist with evaluating tax consequence of regional group & legal entity rationalization.
- SAO, CIR & CbCR – Responsibilities for filing Senior Accounting Officer certificate, Corporate Interest Restrictions return and country by County notifications.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and industry positions to accurately evaluate options and responses to requests for information.
- Monitor industry positions relevant to Honeywell Aerospace business operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-years of combined work experience
- Master’s Degree or above in Finance or Accountancy related subject
- Working in-depth knowledge of Czech and other Pan-European corporate tax rules and regulations including transfer pricing
- Good understanding of indirect tax
- Ideally candidate will be a CTA / ACCA/ACA Qualified with in-depth tax experience
- Big Four/Large Accounting Firm experience desired
- Fluent in English
