GBS BFS ISC – Sr. Adv. Finance Analyst: Site Finance Support

 

Location: Bangalore, KA

 

As a Senior Adv. Finance Analyst at GFC BFS ISC BA, you will be own end to end Finance Cost management for the site supported as Site Finance lead for the respective Business Unit. You will be managing finance operations and providing financial insights and analysis on ISC conversion costs and inventory. This role enables strategic decision-making, drives initiatives, and enhances cost performance. Core responsibilities include leading the Annual Standard Costing process, regular cost monitoring, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, Month end close and financial reporting for ISC conversion costs and inventory.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Standard Costing: Drive the Annual Standard Costing process, including governance with AC-04 and In-year standard costing.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee end-to-end financial operations of the manufacturing plant within the business unit, lead the planning and forecasting process for the plant including the Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Short Range Outlook by coordinating with CFO/Regional leads.
  • Cost Management: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis of conversion costs, PPV, absorption, DLE Efficiency and IOS analytics to identify OI improvement opportunities and WC efficiency.
  • Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls through driving timely annual standard costing activity and managing in- year standards for the plant. Manage Annual physical inventory process, Dock Walks reconciliations.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Drive financial reporting, estimates and accrual finalization. Take actions to improve ISC metrics by actively implementing available analytics for process efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Continuously engage and partner Plant Leader/Regional leads to review financial performance, address variances, align action plans and drive strategic objectives for the business unit.
  • Standardization and Automation Initiatives: Implement available tools for standardization and automation of financial processes and reporting to drive operational efficiency in areas such as Conversion cost, PPV, labor efficiency, inventory and IOS.
  • Operational Deliverables: Ensure timely and accurate completion of recurring tasks, including accruals, intercompany recharges, and preparation of financial reports.

Education and Certifications

  • Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration with 6+ years of overall finance experience

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Corporate Finance and functional leaders to manage financial targets for the function.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with tools such as Tableau, BI, and Alteryx; knowledge of ERP/reporting systems like SAP, Oracle, Essbase, HANA/BW, and Hyperion.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to identify patterns among issues and make consistent, timely decisions.
  • Influencing Skills: Strong cross-functional and peer influencing capabilities.
