Work within the R&D department to design, develop, and document electronic products from concept through delivery. The role contributes with expertise in high-temperature analog electronics, system design, and product validation, ensuring reliable and innovative solutions for downhole applications
Requirements
- A degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics design and product development.
- Strong Norwegian and English skills, both written and spoken
- Structured, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Main Activities & Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic products and systems.
- Develop analog electronics, including schematics, simulations, and PCB layouts.
- Build, test, and document prototypes.
- Participate in development projects from concept through delivery.
- Support and improve existing products.
- Develop test setups and perform verification and qualification activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, assembly procedures, and QA documentation.
- Work closely with suppliers and colleagues across different disciplines.
- Provide technical support to operational activities when needed.
