Location: Atlanta, GA

New Product Introduction Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute the strategy for portfolio management, including defining product requirements, target markets, and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct market research, customer needs analysis, and feasibility studies to assess the viability and potential of new product concepts and sunset based on life cycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, operations) to create comprehensive portfolio plans and timelines.

 

Project Management and Execution:

  • Lead cross-functional teams throughout the portfolio lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project milestones, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful product launches.
  • Coordinate prototype development, testing, and validation processes to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for portfolio and advocate for NPI initiatives within the organization, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.
  • Communicate project status updates, key milestones, and potential risks to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to support portfolio activities and enhance portfolio capabilities.

 

Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct post-launch reviews and analysis to evaluate product performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Implement feedback loops and continuous improvement processes to enhance product quality, reliability, and customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and internal quality management systems throughout the portfolio management process.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 6+ years in product management, project management, or related roles, with a focus on portfolio management.
  • Strong technical background with experience in product development processes, manufacturing, supply chain management and pricing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality standards, and product lifecycle management (PLM) methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
