Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents.  Position Summary The Restaurant Host greets and facilitates guest experience by properly welcoming all guests, organizing server sections, accompanying guests to their tables and maintaining an efficient guest flow. The guest’s first and last point of contact with a Chickie’s & Pete’s team member, and therefore the service they provide, is critical to starting and ending the guest’s experience positively. This role pays an hourly rate of $9.00-$12.00 and is tip-eligible. Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until October 16, 2026. About the Venue PPL Center is a state-of-the-art multipurpose arena in downtown Allentown, PA, and home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The arena seats more than 10,000 for concerts and more than 8,500 for Lehigh Valley Phantoms professional hockey games, making it the region’s largest event venue. The amenities-packed PPL Center hosts more than 150 events each year, offering something for everyone, including the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the AHL affiliate of the NHL Philadelphia Flyers, live concerts, family shows, trade shows, youth sports, high school and collegiate events, conferences, graduations, and so many more.  Chickie’s & Pete’s is a full-service bar and restaurant located within PPL Center, serving lunch Tuesday through Friday and open for events. Responsibilities Ensure that the foyer and host area is clean and neat at all timesSmile and maintain a positive attitude at all timesGreet guests in a warm, friendly and professional mannerWhen possible, seek out guests personally when their table is ready rather than making an announcementAccompany guests to their tables and let them know who their server will beInform guests about new menu items/specials, entertainment and area eventsCommunicate with staff to ensure seating of guests occurs as per the organized seating chart in an order that does not overload the kitchen or a particular serverAnswer the phone in a friendly and professional manner.
