As a Consortia & Host Agency Sales Manager – Mexico, you’re not just developing business through strategic partnerships with travel advisors, host agencies, and consortia networks – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by connecting travelers with exceptional destinations and creating memorable stays for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Develop and grow consortia and host agency business: Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with travel advisors, host agencies, and consortia partners throughout Mexico to drive room revenue and increase market share.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships: Serve as the primary contact for assigned consortia and host agency accounts, strengthening relationships, increasing engagement, and identifying new business opportunities.
• Execute targeted sales initiatives: Analyze market trends, account performance, and competitive activity to develop and implement sales strategies that maximize production and achieve revenue goals.
• Promote hotel products and experiences: Conduct sales calls, presentations, trainings, webinars, and networking events to educate travel partners and increase awareness of the hotel’s offerings.
• Negotiate and secure business opportunities: Develop tailored proposals, negotiate partnership agreements and preferred programs, and support the conversion of opportunities into confirmed business.
• Manage account performance and reporting: Maintain accurate account information, track sales activities and production, prepare performance reports, and ensure timely updates within the hotel’s sales management systems.
• Collaborate across departments: Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of partner programs and exceptional guest experiences.
