The Role
- Design, develop, and test OS and software components for a correlator computer cluster
- Write installation, configuration, and maintenance documentation for the cluster
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software for VLBA telescope systems
- Create and maintain critical software documentation, including requirements and user guides
- Build out a new software correlator computer cluster and develop monitoring scripts
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of professional hands-on Linux system administration experience
- Fluency in RHEL system administration
- Experience with bash, Python, and C/C++ programming
- Ability to architect and operate highly resilient clusters
- Experience with monitoring/log aggregation platforms (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/Graylog)
