Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Executive Assistant to join our team at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington, North Carolina.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Location: This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three to four in-office days at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington, North Carolina and one to two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
Responsibilities
- The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the EVP, Mergers and Acquisitions and Enterprise Business Development, ensuring seamless coordination of schedules, communications, and operational tasks
- Manage complex and frequently changing calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls for senior executives.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, prepare detailed itineraries, and support logistics for meetings and events.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, exercising sound judgment in triaging and prioritizing requests.
- Maintain and organize confidential files, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Distribute mail and ensure timely handling of all incoming and outgoing communications.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including team meetings, executive briefings, and special projects.
- Prepare meeting agendas, compile materials, and support follow-up actions as needed.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
Minimum Qualifications
- High school or GED with 5 or more years of administrative experience in a corporate or executive environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree
- Prior experience supporting senior management SVP and/or C-Suite level Executives

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate with minimal supervision, while exercising good judgment on when and how to escalate issues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills; able to draft correspondence and reports for executive audiences.
- Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in anticipating needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.
