We are headquartered in New York City and have our engineering team based in India.The OpportunityAs a Frontend Engineer at CoverForce, you will design and implement the core front-end web application of the CoverForce platform — onboarding flows, authentication, and the quote/bind/pay experience, including complex, dynamic forms across multiple insurance carriers. You will build core libraries and components that power different web applications depending on customer type (business vs. consumer), and you'll help shape decisions on API structure, front-end architecture, and UI/UX as we scale a complex front-end system.This role is a perfect fit for an engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments looking to build a product from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to take ownership and wear many hats as you develop the product. As an early engineer, you'll impact product development, system architecture, engineering culture, and more. You will work across the stack building out our centralized API and the front-end portal. We use ReactJS, Ant Design, NodeJS, NestJS, MongoDB, Docker, and JavaScript/TypeScript on AWS.Our product was inspired by talking with hundreds of agents and identifying the critical pain points in the quote, bind, and payment process. We see our solution scaling to independent agencies, agency management systems, and corporate customers.Tasks will include:Develop core UI components and libraries — identify and build re-usable components that are configurable across multiple front-end experiences.Design, recommend, and implement UI/UX best practices — research and apply patterns like responsive design and performance optimization.Identify and drive AI-based improvements — bring AI-assisted tooling and workflows into the front-end codebase and development process to boost velocity and quality.Proactively identify opportunities to improve the quality, stability, and scalability of our systems.Conduct code reviews and provide helpful feedback that maintains our high code quality.Collaborate cross-functionally to solve business problems and support our rapid growth.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a strong, independent Frontend Engineer who would like to work in a fast-paced environment with lots of responsibility and scale.
