Sunshine State FC operates as a movement to reshape youth soccer through accessibility, care, and opportunity, one child and one community at a time. **Role Description** The Academy Operations and Growth Manager is a part-time role based in Orlando, responsible for overseeing daily academy operations and leading sustainable growth. This role includes coordinating training schedules, managing field and facility logistics, and ensuring smooth communication between coaches, families, and partners. The manager will help design and refine academy programs, support enrollment and retention efforts, and contribute to marketing and outreach initiatives to grow participation, especially among underserved communities. Day-to-day tasks involve tracking registrations and payments, maintaining program records, plan special events and community partnerships, and gathering feedback to improve academy experiences. The role requires hands-on presence at training sessions and events, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on program needs. **Qualifications** - Experience in operations or program coordination, preferably in sports, youth development, or education. - Skills in planning and organizing schedules, managing logistics, and maintaining accurate records. - Ability to lead growth initiatives through community outreach, basic marketing, and relationship-building with families and partners. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, caregivers, coaches, and community organizations. - Passion for youth development, sports accessibility, and serving diverse and underserved communities. - Proficiency with digital tools (spreadsheets, email, messaging platforms, and social media) to support operations and communication. - Previous experience in grassroots sports, soccer academies, or nonprofit/community-based programs is a plus. - High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in sports management, education, business, or a related field is beneficial.
