Introduction to the job

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.

Role and responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Team Lead, you will:

• Lead a manufacturing team with both operational and disciplinary responsibility and create clarity in day-to-day collaboration.

• Plan and steer daily operations to meet output targets while aligning staffing, shift coverage, vacations, and time management.

• Prepare, facilitate, and further develop regular team routines that support transparent communication, fast follow-up, and clear priorities.

• Work closely with relevant partner functions to resolve issues, stabilize operations, and address escalations when needed.

• Develop the team’s capabilities through qualification, cross-training, and structured knowledge transfer.

• Support hiring activities and contribute to the selection of new team members.

• Use performance indicators to identify deviations, derive actions, improve processes and structures, and contribute hands-on in production when required.

Education and experience

• You have completed technical vocational training or a comparable qualification.

• You have an additional qualification as a technician or master craftsperson.

• You bring several years of relevant experience in a technical manufacturing or operations environment.

• You have gained initial leadership experience in a production-related setting.

• You work confidently with Microsoft Office applications and have solid ERP or SAP knowledge.

• You communicate effectively in written and spoken English and German.

An unserem Standort in Berlin fertigen unsere Mitarbeitenden Schlüsselkomponenten für die ASML Lithografiesysteme. Als Teil unserer Präzisionsfertigung unterstützt du bei der Produktion optischer Komponenten, Baugruppen sowie Systeme aus Glas, Glaskeramik und Keramik für unsere High-Tech-Kleinserien, Einzelteil- und Prototypenfertigung.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Teamleiter:in Fertigung wirst du:

• ein Fertigungsteam fachlich und disziplinarisch führen und im Arbeitsalltag für klare Zusammenarbeit sorgen.

• die täglichen Abläufe so planen und steuern, dass Output-Ziele, Personaleinsatz, Schichtabdeckung, Urlaubsplanung und Zeitmanagement zusammenpassen.

• Regeltermine im Team vorbereiten, moderieren und weiterentwickeln, um Transparenz, Nachverfolgung und klare Prioritäten sicherzustellen.

• mit relevanten Schnittstellen eng zusammenarbeiten, um Probleme zu lösen, den Betrieb zu stabilisieren und Eskalationen bei Bedarf einzubinden.

• die Fähigkeiten im Team durch Qualifizierung, Querqualifizierung und strukturierten Wissenstransfer weiterentwickeln.

• Auswahlprozesse für neue Mitarbeitende unterstützen und zur Besetzung offener Funktionen beitragen.

• Kennzahlen nutzen, um Abweichungen zu erkennen, Maßnahmen abzuleiten, Prozesse und Strukturen zu verbessern und bei Bedarf in der Fertigung mitzuarbeiten.

Deine Qualifikation

• Du hast eine abgeschlossene technische Berufsausbildung oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.

• Du hast eine zusätzliche Weiterbildung als Techniker:in oder Meister:in.

• Du bringst mehrere Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung in einem technischen Fertigungs- oder Produktionsumfeld mit.

• Du hast erste Führungserfahrung in einem produktionsnahen Bereich gesammelt.

• Du verfügst über sichere Kenntnisse in den gängigen Microsoft-Office-Anwendungen sowie gute ERP- oder SAP-Kenntnisse.

• Du verfügst über gute Englisch- sowie Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
