Job Description: 

The Intel Israel Logistics organization is responsible for all logistics services in Intel Israel (import , export, Global Transportation [ocean, Air, Inland] and Storage) for Intel Israel Design Centers in Haifa, PTK and JER, in Fab manufacturing and Construction projects in K.Gat . In this position, the student employee primary role will be to support the logistics operations activities in the Design Centers but will also have horizontal responsibilities supporting the other business units in the ISR logistics organization. Manage, monitor, and optimize logistics (storage , transportation and shipping) processes across the organization. Work closely with external Freight Forwarders, Logistics service providers and third-party vendors Track and manage SLA performance, delivery times, exceptions, and returns Develop and maintain operational KPI reports Build and implement automation workflows using tools such as Smartsheet, Make, Zapier, and Power Automate Write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries Integrate systems such as ERP, WMS, and CRM Design and deploy AI Agents/Bots to support operational logistics processes Drive performance improvements, cost reduction, and operational transparency through data and automation Primary location - Haifa, but may need to work from Jerusalem, Petah Tikva and Kiryat Gat from time to time per operational activity/meeting. Key Responsibilities - Analyze process performance data to identify opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements in supply chain operations. - Conduct quality assessments and benchmarking to ensure supplier performance meets Intel's high standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics, inventory, and procurement strategies. - Contribute to supplier development initiatives by supporting stakeholder management and engagement activities. - Assist in the implementation of continuous process improvement projects to enhance supply chain reliability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability. - Create technical documentation and data visualizations to communicate findings, strategies, and recommendations effectively. - Contribute to strategic planning activities by conducting market intelligence and industry analysis. - Apply lean management principles to improve processes and drive disciplined execution within supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least 4 semesters remaining period of study
  • Availability for at least 2.5-3 days in a week
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • Basic experience , good orientation with Smartsheet and workflow automation tools
  • Basic experience, good orientation in building AI Bots or AI Agents
  • Working independently and can take tasks till the end
  • Strong Analytical skills and good attention to details


Preferred Qualifications (Advantage)

  • Basic Python knowledge
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with ERP or WMS or TMS systems
  • Basic to intermediate SQL proficiency
