Strategy and Planning Analyst
We are currently seeking a Strategy and Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia!
The Strategy and Planning Analyst will support global and regional strategic initiatives, including the preparation of global QBR presentations and management of headcount, capex, and fixed cost reporting. This role partners with the global strategy team and regional stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
What kind of work will you be doing?
- Prepare global QBR presentations and reports
- Lead the preparation and analysis of headcount, capex, and fixed cost tables
- Conduct market research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to gather and analyze data
- Support the development and implementation of global strategic plans and initiatives
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Ensure the smooth operation of the company by effectively supporting management standards, operating models, coordinating projects and meetings, and facilitating communication across various teams
- Align and coordinate strategy tasks (regional and global)
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of regional and global reports (MBR, QBR)
- Lead meetings and discussions with various regions and local departments, focusing on specific problems and improvements
- Provide expert support, analysis, and research into complex problems and processes
- Maintain a strong focus on the execution of short-term results while moving toward the long-term vision
- Nurture a culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing, and process standardization
Qualifications:
- Master degree in Economics, Business, or related field
- Engineering background combined with MBA is a plus
- 6+ years of experience in strategy, planning, consulting, or business analysis
- Worked in an international and culturally diverse organization is a plus
- English minimum B2 level
Technical/Hard Skills:
- Advanced Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, macros, complex formulas)
- PowerPoint (executive-level presentations, data storytelling)
- Financial modeling and analysis (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)
- Market research and competitive analysis methodologies
- Data visualization (Power BI, dashboards, KPI reporting) is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Stakeholder management (ability to influence and align diverse teams)
- Cross-cultural communication (experience working across multiple regions and time zones)
- Strategic thinking (connecting operational data to long-term business objectives)
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Project coordination and prioritization
- Executive communication (ability to synthesize complex information for C-suite audiences)
