Product Acceptance Specialist (Product Acceptance)

Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking a Product Acceptance Specialist to join their team in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.
Position Responsibilities:
- Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
- Provides objective evidence of results.
- Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
- Identifies and documents discrepancies.
- Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
- Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
- Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
- Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience inspecting aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies for conformance with applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans
- Physical ability to stand for duration of a shift; able to lift, carry, move and manipulate a large volume and variety of parts
- Willing to work variable shifts; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience identifying, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- 1+ years of experience working in a cross functional work environment
- 1+ years of experience in a formal or informal team leadership role
