Back to jobsCommunications Specialist (m/f/d)Ottobrunn, Bavaria, GermanyApplyMission Brief  Support the Senior Communications Specialist in developing and delivering innovative, strategic and impactful communications across various audiences and company milestones.  Your Role in Our Space Mission:  Execute an international PR strategy with bold and ambitious strategic initiatives while building and maintaining strong international media relations   Drive our storytelling by creating compelling material for internal and external communications, ensuring consistency among all our communication efforts  Position Isar Aerospace as a thought leader in the European space ecosystem by securing high-impact speaking opportunities and drafting op-eds on relevant topics  Leverage events for maximum media impact and support with their strategy   Translate complex topics and technical milestones into value-driven narratives for internal, public, media, political and fundraising audiences  Support with crisis communications as and when necessary  Build and execute Isar Aerospace’s internal communication strategy, steering all internal communication channels and monitoring efficiency and impact  Plan, manage and own the production of engaging content (inhouse and in collaboration with agencies), while regularly evaluating the efficiency of our internal and external channels and formats   Support in drafting messaging, scripts and presentations for senior executives and ensure internal messages are consistent across all channels and for teams  Support the planning and execution of leadership exchange meetings, internal events, social events and engagement opportunities for employees     Qualification Checklist  4+ years of experience in communications or PR, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment  A hands-on, ownership-driven mindset with ability to prioritize, stay organized, and deliver under pressure, while remaining adaptable as priorities shift  Excellent PR and media relations skills, with the confidence to build new relationships and land impactful coverage, as well as experience with crisis communications  Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, compelling narratives  Experience developing and delivering integrated communication strategies across internal and external channels  Confidence supporting senior stakeholders and leadership communication, including speeches, presentations, and key messaging  A solid understanding of internal communications and employee engagement, with the ability to manage channels and drive clarity and alignment  A collaborative, positive team player with high standards, strong ownership, and a drive to deliver best-in-class communication  Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken)  Bonus Skills Exposure to events as a PR lever and integrated campaign thinking  A degree in communications, PR, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)  A valid German driver’s license    Benefits  Employee Participation Program: Share in our success through our virtual company share program 30 days of vacation: Enjoy the days off to relax and recharge Company pension plan: Secure your future with our company pension plan, featuring a 20% employer contribution after the probation period Subsidised lunch: Stay energised with delicious, subsidised lunches every day Public transport ticket: Commute with ease using a fully financed Deutschlandticket Sport Clubs membership: Stay fit with our sponsored sports club memberships (EGYM Wellpass) Individual learning allowance: Grow your skills with an individual learning budget granted after the probation period Childcare allowance: Receive a childcare allowance for your non-school-age children And Much More!
