Accountabilities:

    The Associate Practice Optimization Partner will provide consultative support to physician practices by evaluating revenue cycle operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing actionable strategies to enhance performance.

    • Assess and analyze physician practice revenue cycle processes, from initial patient interactions through charge submission and reconciliation.
    • Review operational workflows including registration, scheduling, time-of-service collections, pre-authorizations, referrals, charge processes, charge reconciliation, charge lag, patient portal utilization, and patient satisfaction.
    • Conduct root cause analysis to identify operational challenges and develop effective improvement recommendations.
    • Research and evaluate potential solutions to address practice performance issues and improve efficiency.
    • Create educational materials and provide guidance to practice staff based on identified opportunities and analysis findings.
    • Collaborate with access, revenue cycle, and operational teams to resolve issues and deliver a high-quality consulting experience.
    • Partner with client leaders and internal stakeholders to implement recommendations and support continuous improvement.
    • Lead meetings and facilitate discussions while building trusted relationships with clients and team members.
    • Prepare and present insights, findings, and recommendations to leadership audiences.
    • Support innovation initiatives by exploring new technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve processes and reduce operational friction.
    • Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining strong organization and accountability.
    • Travel to client sites, temporary offices, or corporate locations when required by business needs.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, consulting, or practice optimization, with strong analytical abilities and the communication skills needed to influence stakeholders and drive improvement.

      • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role involving healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, consulting, or process improvement.
      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
      • Strong understanding of physician practice revenue cycle processes and healthcare operational workflows.
      • Ability to perform detailed analysis, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions to complex business challenges.
      • Experience preparing and manipulating data to support analysis and decision-making.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to client leadership and executive audiences.
      • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and work with diverse stakeholders.
      • Excellent time management, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel.
      • Ability to adapt quickly to change and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.
      • Curiosity and openness toward innovation, technology, and process improvement.
      • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
      • Revenue cycle certification (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire, with certification support provided.
