Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver complex software features across data platforms and API services, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with technical architecture.
- Lead technical activities throughout the software development lifecycle, including estimation, planning, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive architectural decisions related to data integration pipelines, service-to-service integrations, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Build and maintain reliable, high-quality software using modern development practices and engineering standards.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, including software defects, performance issues, database optimization, and integration problems.
- Design and implement automated testing strategies, including unit and integration testing, to ensure robust and maintainable code.
- Perform code reviews, establish development standards, and help improve the overall quality of engineering deliverables.
- Develop and maintain clean, well-structured, and documented code following strong software engineering principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, solve customer-impacting issues, and deliver effective solutions.
- Mentor and coach other developers by sharing technical knowledge, improving practices, and supporting team growth.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, establish best practices, and accelerate engineering workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of software development experience, including experience leading complex technical projects.
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, microservices, and REST API design.
- Experience designing and developing data integration pipelines and service-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS/Fargate, SQS, S3, and Lambda.
- Experience with Docker, containerization, and cloud-based development environments.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and agentic AI workflows.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, React, jQuery, or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Git-based version control systems and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to analyze and optimize SQL Server performance, including query tuning and database improvements.
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, message queues, or scalable workloads is a strong advantage.
