What You Will Do *
1. Minimum 4- 7years of experience in safety critical domain (preferably aerospace domain) and experience in Software Verification as per DO-178 C Guidelines.
2. Independently perform Software Verification as per DO-178 C Guidelines. Strong experience in developing Software Verification Cases and Procedures (HSIT (Hardware Software Integration testing)).
3. Strong experience in testing methodologies, boundary value analysis, robustness testing, timing and performance Testing etc along with strong understanding of test infrastructure and execution methodologies.
4. Strong in Python language (for supporting Verification and validation activities) and and test automation frameworks.
5. Should have experience in working and maintaining target boards / environments. Should be able to independently set-up test environment for embedded software.
6. Should have a strong working experience on debugging test cases and finding potential software issues when tests fail.
7. Should have a strong working experience on SDLC & Agile methodologies as well as Change Management, Configuration Management tools and processes.
8. Should have understanding of Planning and Certification documents.
9. Should have prior knowledge on all stages of SOI audits. Able to effectively participate in all SOI audits.
10. Should be responsible for quality, schedule of assigned project activities.
11. Should have strong working experience on communication Protocols such as CAN, ARINC 664 (AFDX), RS422, UART, SPI, I2C.
12. Should be able to communicate clearly and provide all required details to all stakeholders involved.
13. Should have proper listening skills.
14. Should be sensitive to team culture, BU Culture, and show compassion / empathy to all stakeholders involved. Maintain integrity and work ethics within the team.
What You Will Learn
1. Exposure to Embedded Software Development and Verification Processes.
2. Exposure to various communication protocols.
3. Verification, and Certification inline with DO-178 C.
Qualifications You Must Have *
1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering /Electronics and communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Information Technology.
2. Minimum 4-7 years of Industry experience in safety critical domain (preferably aerospace domain), embedded Software Verification life cycle in accordance with DO-178 C processes.
3. A strong Python programming experience.
4. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on ARINC 664 / AFDX (Avionics Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet).
