Litigation Paralegal Job Locations US-VA-Reston Requisition ID 2026-167047 Position Category Legal Clearance No Clearance Required Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our Legal team at our Reston, VA headquarters. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to our attorneys, providing day to day management of complex litigation and potential disputes across the company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of case management, and is committed to delivering high quality legal support.What You’ll DoCoordinate end to end discovery activities, including document collection, review, analysis, and production using e discovery platformsPrepare a wide range of legal documents- pleadings, motions, exhibits, discovery requests/responses, petitions, and attorney correspondence- in compliance with court rules and deadlinesSupport deposition and client interview preparation by assembling organized witness binders, interview summaries, and document digestsPrepare, track, and organize case materials for hearings and trials; coordinate logistics and provide on site support when requiredMaintain expert-level understanding of federal, state, and local court filing rules and proceduresCoordinate service of complaints, subpoenas, and discovery and manage all associated deadlines and logisticsMaintain and organize comprehensive electronic case files, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondenceUse and maintain proficiency with litigation support tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, SharePoint, Case Notebook, PACER Pro, Relativity, and other platforms Qualifications Basic QualificationsAssociate degree in a related fieldMinimum of five years’ experience as a paralegal or legal assistant supporting active litigation matters and overseeing administrative case managementUS CitizenshipPreferred QualificationsParalegal certificationExtensive experience serving as lead paralegal on complex litigation mattersExperience supporting bid protests in federal procurement environmentsDemonstrated ability to independently manage a substantial caseload with minimal supervision while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and recommend practical solutionsCollaborative, proactive communicator who works effectively with attorneys and peers to streamline workflow and ensure seamless case management Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
