Accountabilities:
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals.
- Oversee consolidated financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and internal standards.
- Drive improvements in financial performance, including profitability, working capital optimization, and return on invested capital.
- Lead pricing strategy support, revenue analysis, and customer profitability monitoring across the group.
- Own quarterly strategic review (QSR) processes, including forecasting, pipeline evaluation, and cost analysis.
- Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks across all business units.
- Lead integration efforts for acquired businesses, including systems migration, financial alignment, and operational onboarding.
- Partner with business leaders to standardize financial processes, improve reporting systems, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee finance talent development, including leadership of finance business partners and collaboration with HR on hiring and capability building.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards across all entities.
- Champion adoption of AI and automation tools to enhance forecasting, reporting, and finance operations.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles with accounting, controlling, and financial operations responsibility.
- Proven experience leading finance in a multi-business unit or multi-P&L environment.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS standards (including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 preferred).
- Experience with M&A integration, financial systems migration, and post-acquisition operational alignment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with finance systems such as NetSuite (a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving processes and driving efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure, and complex global environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across geographies, cultures, and leadership levels.
- Exposure to AI-driven finance tools and a strong interest in finance transformation is highly valued.
- CPA designation and experience in transportation, software, or multi-entity global organizations are considered strong advantages.
