About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Experience
The Hyperforce Trust Platform product management team is responsible for the strategy and delivery of platform capabilities and services that enable security, availability, scale, and compliance for Salesforce products. Our mission is to protect customer data at scale and identify opportunities to maintain and exceed customer trust. We build security and infrastructure platforms working closely with key stakeholders including developers, security engineers, and business unit leaders.
We are looking for a Product Management leader to join the team and focus on future-proofing cryptography across Salesforce — including post-quantum readiness, encryption and key management system evolution, and modernization across Hyperforce. You will drive measurable outcomes including cryptographic agility (ability to rotate algorithms and keys at scale), compliance audit readiness, and developer velocity (reducing time-to-implement secure cryptography patterns). The ideal candidate has a proven track record responding to complex, ambiguous market requirements with a focus on platform excellence in security and cloud-based platform services, and a genuine curiosity for how AI can accelerate product strategy and execution.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Set strategic vision with executive management and define the roadmaps needed to achieve it.
Partner with application teams consuming cryptography Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), compliance and legal stakeholders navigating regulatory requirements (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Payment Card Industry (PCI)), and cloud infrastructure teams ensuring platform-level cryptographic primitives scale.
Collaborate with engineering and operations peers to deliver both strategic and tactical plans and objectives. Operate at platform altitude — defining service contracts, owning multi-quarter roadmaps, and unblocking cross-cloud execution — while staying close to technical tradeoffs (algorithm performance, key rotation windows, Hardware Security Module (HSM) throughput) to influence direction.
Own the delivery of platform products and services from planning through delivery and iteration, with strong product sense and customer focus. For example: when the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) mandates algorithm deprecation, you own the migration playbook — identifying affected services, defining rollout windows, and shipping tooling that lets 500+ teams migrate without outages.
Build and ship high-quality, production-grade platform features using modern product practices, with AI as a core part of your workflow — using AI tools to accelerate roadmap synthesis, stakeholder communication, and product analysis.
Design and orchestrate complex platform programs where AI agents can integrate into engineering and compliance workflows, driving efficiency and innovation at scale.
Contribute to building and maintaining shared system context — an explicit repository of platform designs, constraints, and standards — that enables engineering and AI tooling to operate accurately and reliably. Critically evaluate platform decisions (human- or AI-assisted) for correctness, security, and production-readiness.
You're Our Person If...
You have shipped cryptographic platform services (Key Management System (KMS), HSM, encryption APIs) consumed by 100+ engineering teams.
You have navigated Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS)/FedRAMP cryptography audits through remediation and certification.
You have led cross-cloud platform initiatives requiring consensus across infrastructure, security, and compliance.
You can translate regulatory requirements (NIST standards, industry mandates) into actionable engineering roadmaps.
You bring strong matrix leadership skills — building consensus across cloud infrastructure, application teams, security, legal, and compliance stakeholders.
You communicate with executives effectively — distilling cryptographic complexity into business impact for non-technical audiences.
You bring a demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to product management — using AI to move faster, synthesize complexity across the stack, and contribute beyond your core specialty.
You have experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) in your day-to-day product workflows.
You apply advanced prompt engineering skills — writing precise, structured prompts and cultivating the system context that makes AI outputs reliable, accurate, and production-ready.
You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Security, or related fields.
Even Better If...
You have led post-quantum cryptography (PQC) migration planning or contributed to NIST PQC standardization efforts.
You have built cryptography services at hyperscaler scale (Amazon Web Services (AWS) KMS, Azure Key Vault, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud KMS equivalents).
You have a background in cryptographic agility — designing systems that can swap algorithms and keys without service disruption.
You have led FIPS 140-3 or Common Criteria certification from scoping through Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) approval, or contributed to NIST PQC standardization or early-adopter migration planning.
You have a proven understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms including the major hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Unleash Your Potential
