Position Description Senior FP&A Systems Consultant – Flex Platform Argentina, Remote About Vivid Reports (A Banyan Software Portfolio) Vivid Reports is a Canadian B2B SaaS company that simplifies financial reporting and budgeting by automating reporting and analysis directly within Excel. We enable finance teams to handle complex data, reduce manual work, and make faster, more informed decisions. You must have native or near native-level English language skills to be considered. About the Role Vivid Reports is hiring a Senior FP&A Systems Consultant to help design, optimize, and extend our Flex reporting platform. This role sits at the intersection of FP&A, ERP systems, SQL and reporting architecture, Excel engineering, and customer-facing solution consulting. You will work directly with financial data structures, ERP transaction models, integrations, and reporting performance challenges to help customers build scalable, trusted reporting environments. This is not a traditional software engineering role and not a traditional FP&A role. The right candidate combines deep financial systems understanding with strong development capability and the ability to solve complex reporting and data architecture problems end-to-end. The right candidate works independently with minimal supervision, owns complex customer assignments from discovery through delivery, and thrives operating across both technical and business domains. The Role Understand ERP transaction flows and financial semantics Design dimensional reporting structures across chart of accounts and management reporting hierarchies Validate reporting accuracy and reconciliation integrity Translate operational transactions into reliable financial reporting outputs Work with ERP systems and external data sources Design and troubleshoot integrations and APIs Map inbound financial and operational data feeds Support scalable warehouse-oriented reporting architectures Design approaches for data movement, transformation, and synchronization Write advanced SQL for reporting and analysis against financial data sources Diagnose reporting bottlenecks and warehouse inefficiencies Design scalable reporting structures and reusable query logic Apply data warehouse thinking to financial reporting problems Lead technical discoveries with customers around reporting requirements and data challenges Translate finance problems into scalable technical architecture Communicate tradeoffs and alternative solution paths clearly Independently drive customer assignments from requirements through delivery Coordinate with implementation partners and internal teams Qualification for Success Native or near-native English language skills, all writing and client interaction will be in English 6–10 years of experience spanning FP&A, ERP implementation, financial systems consulting, or a combination of these Deep understanding of ERP transaction flows, GL structures, subledgers, dimensions, and financial reporting hierarchies Hands-on experience with mid-market ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, Business Central, Oracle EBS, or SAP HANA Advanced Excel capability; Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and experience building reports used by large groups of end...
