Executive Assistant

Overview
The Executive Assistant is a highly strategic and trusted partner to the EVP, Market Development Lead for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). This unique hybrid role requires the operational excellence of an executive assistant with business acumen, project management, and operational excellence expertise to help drive business priorities, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and manage strategic initiatives. This role requires exceptional judgment, discretion, organizational skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

Role:

Executive Support
• Serve as the primary strategic and administrative partner to the EVP, Market Development Lead, LAC.
• Manage a complex and dynamic calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and efficient use of executive time.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries, logistics, visa requirements, and contingency planning.
• Prepare and process expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Organize and coordinate leadership meetings, conferences, town halls, offsites, customer engagements, and executive reviews.
• Drive special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of the EVP and Market Development leadership team.
• Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Prepare agendas, presentations, briefing materials, meeting summaries, and action-item tracking.
• Serve as a conduit for information and requests between the EVP and leadership teams, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up.
• Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Screen and prioritize communications, inquiries, and requests, directing them appropriately and ensuring timely responses.

Business Operations Support:

• Support onboarding activities for new hires and leadership team members.
• Coordinate office operations and administrative processes, including procurement, shipping, budget tracking, and vendor management as needed.
• Assist in preparing and managing departmental budgets, including T&E monitoring and reporting.
• Administer programs, projects, and processes specific to the Market Development organization.
• Develop dashboards, trackers, reports, and presentations to support business planning and management decision-making.
• Foster collaboration across regional and global teams, building strong working relationships throughout the organization.

All About You
• Significant experience supporting senior executives, preferably at the EVP, President, or C-suite level within a global organization.
• Experience serving in a project management, strategic operations, or similar leadership-support capacity.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive execution across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
• Experience preparing executive presentations, reports, and business briefings for senior leadership audiences.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Proven ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and decision-making.
• Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges

Miami, Florida: $63,000 - $98,000 USD
