Associate Software EngineerSalary: £99,450 - £134,550 annualA leading global aerospace and defense organization is looking for an Associate Software Engineer. This role focuses on developing real-time embedded flight-critical software for the MQ-25 Vehicle Management System in Hazelwood, MO. You will contribute to the integration of the world's first operational, carrier-based unmanned aircraft system.What you'll be doing• Develop and maintain complex software architectures, requirements, and designs• Integrate complex software components into functional systems at the infrastructure layer• Execute software verification plans and document test results to ensure requirements are met• Support the development of code for real-time embedded flight-critical applications• Assist with software supplier management activities and technical documentationWhat we're looking for• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science• Two or more years of experience in embedded real-time software development• Proficiency with software version control tools such as Git or ClearCase• Experience working with industry standards such as DO-178, DO-254, or MIL-882• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the required security clearances for this roleWhat's on offer•...
