Overall Responsibilities
The overall responsibilities of this position include inspection of in-house and vendor purchased products, raw materials, services, packaging and labeling materials used for medical devices. Quality Inspectors assist in manufacturing line operations while ensuring quality, efficiency, excellence, and safety compliance.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
Inspect incoming, in-process and finished products and materials for visual, mechanical, and dimensional characteristics.
Document deviations from requirements and specifications.
Determine acceptance or rejection of product using procedures and visual aids.
Use magnifying glass, sampling methods, first article checks and AOI machines.
Enter inspection information into MES system.
Lot release and archiving of batch documentation.
Prepare documentation and ensure paperwork compliance.
Assist in training co-workers.
Perform Roving Auditor function.
Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.
DHR Responsibilities
Perform Device History Review inspection and final product release.
Support imaging and verification of Device History Records.
Review batch documentation for GDP compliance.
Act as final checkpoint before shipment.
Communicate issues and prioritize tasks
Job Profile
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required with 1-2 years relevant experience.
Experience: Reading technical drawings and using measuring instruments.
The hourly pay range for this role is $17.98 - $32.36. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
