PSG Test Engineering Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible for sustaining test engineering activities of PSG (Power Solution Group) 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work together with Product Engineering team and manufacturing test engineering team on PSG sustaining test engineering activities
• Develop test coverage and quality matrix to ensure no test escapees and best quality of test screening for customer.
• Lead a team of engineers for all sustaining test activities in mass production including yield, quality or cost improvement.
• Champion of tester platform roadmap for PSG
• Manage test system enhancement to achieve best Cost of Test (COT) for PSG
• Support test related customer activities including develop new test screening and special new test for customer.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Physics.
• Good oral and written English language.
• At least 8-10 years hands-on experience in semiconductor test and/or product engineering. Experienced in high power semiconductor is preferred.
• Strong knowledge on power semiconductors such as GaN, Driver GaN, IGBT, SiC MOSFET, Rectifiers and gate drivers.
• Experienced in ETS high power test platforms or equivalent platform in multi-site environment is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with bench test equipment such as power supply, oscilloscope, function generator and curve tracer for the purpose of debugging
• Experience in dynamic testing of power semiconductors is an added advantage
• Good programming skills in Visual C++.
• Computer literacy in MS Office, Power Point, Excel and Word.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills and able to work efficiently with multi-functional groups across different locations. 
• Project management skills. Results/goal oriented.
