About this role
The Program Manager for our Program Management Office is responsible for management of multiple programs for Carrier’s North America Residential HVAC business. Applicant must be capable of working in a self-directed cross-functional manner leading project teams and coordination across Carrier internal business units and functions to deliver project results for business unit commitments. Foundational skills for this role include project management experience, Carrier experience, basic residential HVAC product knowledge and general business management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting key metrics and KPIs for World Headquarters reviews.
Create and coordinate monthly reviews with cross-functional project teams and key members of leadership.
Work closely with Program Management teams across North America to drive integrity and consistency in key deliverables.
Facilitate communication across multiple internal functions and departments to ensure priorities and resources are aligned.
Assess key documents and outputs from multiple business units to establish best practices.
Own and maintain multiple calendars across stakeholders.
Represent the Residential Program team in the Product Development Process council.
Manage Passport, Leadership, and other key reviews. Reporting meeting minutes and keeping action items for follow up.
Update and maintain team Sharepoint site.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects using Project Management tools
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management training or certification
Understanding of Manufacturing processes and factories
Experience with RES HVAC manufacturing processes and factories
Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving manufacturing of technical products.
Strong sense of urgency, quality, self-initiative, sense of ownership and customer satisfaction orientation
Presentation and communication acumen with audiences of varying group sizes, technical skill levels and levels of business responsibilities
Organizational and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesis in both graphic and verbal forms
Ability to communicate and work in self-directed manner across multiple business units to identify needs of the organization and/or customer, articulate necessary proposals and see projects through to completion
Team oriented leadership ability; able to lead cross-functional indirect teams to deliver project results
Fluent skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Microsoft Project experience preferred
SAP experience preferred
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with Carrier products, preferably residential products.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.Other Compensation
