Digital Marketing Account Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Account Manager to own the delivery of our Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization and Local SEO service for a portfolio of client accounts.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will manage approximately 15–20 client accounts from end to end. You will execute Google Business Profile optimization, improve local search visibility, prepare monthly performance reports, and meet directly with clients to review results and recommend next steps.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Google Business Profile optimization, Local SEO, and client account management, and enjoys balancing technical execution with client communication.
Responsibilities
Client Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 15–20 client accounts.
- Build strong client relationships through regular communication and monthly performance reviews.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure an excellent client experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve client retention and support account growth.
Google Business Profile & Local SEO
- Optimize Google Business Profiles to improve local search visibility and rankings.
- Execute Local SEO strategies, including citation management, NAP consistency, review optimization, and local ranking improvements.
- Monitor account performance and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Stay current on Google Business Profile and Local SEO best practices.
Reporting & Performance
- Prepare clear monthly performance reports for clients.
- Present campaign results, insights, and recommendations during client meetings.
- Track key performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support leadership with reporting for high-value client accounts.
Tools & Process Improvement
- Evaluate, recommend, and manage digital marketing tools that improve service delivery.
- Learn and utilize internal platforms to analyze client performance data.
- Continuously improve workflows and optimization processes.
Required Experience & Skills
Must-Have
- 5+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience focused on execution.
- Proven experience optimizing Google Business Profiles (GBP).
- Strong knowledge of Local SEO, including:
- Local ranking factors
- Citation management
- NAP consistency
- Review management
- Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Experience preparing and presenting client performance reports.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Previous agency or white-label marketing experience.
- Client-facing account management experience.
- Experience selecting and implementing digital marketing tools.
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients.
- Comfortable learning new software platforms quickly.
