This role exists to support reliable financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be part of the Finance team and work closely with internal departments as well as external stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting activities while supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement within the finance function.Key Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle accounting, including the month-end closing process,Assist with the year-end closing process,Maintain, reconcile, and document general ledger accounts and bank reconciliations,Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and key expense accounts (interest, insurance, taxes),Prepare and submit sales tax returns,Reconcile intercompany transactions,Assist with variance analysis,Monitor cash flow and provide relevant information to Accounts Payable for supplier payments,Review AP/AR reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of payments,Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed,Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls,Support additional accounting-related projects as required.Your ProfileWe are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who demonstrates accountability, accuracy, and strong analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance,CPA candidacy is considered an asset,Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience,Strong understanding of accounting principles (ASPE...
