**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Benefits Professional, you will have responsibility for operational aspects of one or more employee benefits programs within China mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The scope of the role will vary by country depending on benefits offered and resources available.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Operate and Implement Benefits Programs: Follow designed benefits program, execute day-to-day operational activities by leveraging success factors, SAP, excel, SPSS and etc, resolving individual employee questions or issues.
• Legal compliance: Sensitive with local regulation, ensure benefits program design and logic is fully aligned with local regulation.
• Collaborate with IBM Functions: Team with other IBM functions on matters involving legal compliance, employee relations, employee communications, and financial reporting related to the benefits programs.
• Resolve Employee Issues: Provide support and resolve individual employee questions or issues related to benefits programs, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
• Exposure to Benefits Administration: Familiarity with the operational aspects of employee benefits programs.
• Experience Working with Compliance: Understanding of legal compliance requirements related to benefits programs, including collaborating with other functions on compliance matters.
• Understanding of Employee Relations: Exposure to resolving individual employee questions or issues related to benefits programs.
• Detailed-oriented and professional data analytic skill: Detailed in daily calculation work, skilled in excel, word and powerpoint.

• Fluent in spoken and written English
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
• Benefits Program Analysis: Exposure to analyzing employee benefits programs, including identifying trends and areas for improvement, to inform design and operational decisions.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and laws governing employee benefits programs, enabling effective collaboration with other functions on compliance matters.
• Vendor Relationship Building: Experience working with vendors to deliver benefits programs, including contract negotiation and relationship management.
