🌟 Clinical Lead – Urgent Care & General Practice 🌟

Are you a senior clinician ready to combine hands-on patient care with meaningful clinical leadership?

Tend is now on the Shore and we’re looking for a Clinical Lead with a background in urgent care and/or general practice to help shape and support high-quality, connected care for our community on the North Shore.

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in leading teams, strengthening clinical quality, and supporting the delivery of both urgent care and GP services in a collaborative, modern care environment.

Alongside clinical work, you’ll provide leadership and guidance to the team, help drive excellence in patient care, and contribute to a positive, high-performing clinic culture. You’ll also be supported by inbox support and our world-class note-taking tool, Scribe, helping create a better experience for both patients and clinicians.

What’s on offer:

  • A Clinical Lead role with the opportunity to combine leadership and clinical practice

  • Flexible roster options, including weekday and/or weekend sessions

  • 24 - 32 hours per week (6 - 8 sessions) available, with flexibility depending on the right candidate

  • The chance to lead across a model that includes both urgent care and general practice

  • Work alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team in a supportive and collaborative environment

What we’re looking for:

  • An experienced senior doctor with a background in Urgent Care and/or General Practice

  • GP or UC Fellowship (NZ or comparable international equivalent)

  • Confidence managing a broad range of presentations across same-day urgent care and ongoing GP care

  • A passion for clinical leadership, mentoring, and supporting team development

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

  • Strong collaboration skills and enthusiasm for working within a multidisciplinary team

Why you’ll love working with us:

  • A warm, collegial environment where your leadership and expertise are truly valued

  • The opportunity to influence clinical culture, quality, and service delivery

  • Predictable scheduling to support your work-life balance

  • A modern, well-supported workplace designed to make care better for clinicians and patients

  • Opportunities to grow and lead alongside a passionate, forward-thinking team

If you’re ready for a role where you can make a difference through both clinical leadership and patient care, we’d love to hear from you.
