We are now looking for a Senior ERP Product Owner – Finance (Oracle Fusion) to join our growing global ERP Governance and Deployment team, based in Cluj, Romania or Luxembourg.
Job Summary
As a Senior ERP Product Owner – Finance, you will act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Financials, driving the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of ERP solutions across a global organisation.
Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners, you will lead solution discussions, gather requirements, define functional designs, and ensure Oracle solutions align with business objectives and best practices.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Oracle Finance professional who can combine strong functional expertise with stakeholder management and product ownership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the functional subject matter expert for Oracle Financials.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Lead solution design workshops and provide recommendations aligned with business objectives.
- Create and maintain functional design documents, configuration specifications, and process documentation.
- Support end-to-end ERP implementations, enhancements, and global deployments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Finance business processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams and third-party vendors on integrations and system enhancements.
- Support testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and go-live readiness.
- Provide guidance on reporting, analytics, and Oracle best practices.
- Work effectively with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of Oracle ERP experience, with strong expertise in Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Proven experience within Oracle Financials modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Project Accounting/Billing
- Subledger Accounting (SLA)
- Experience participating in multiple end-to-end Oracle ERP implementations.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and cross-functional ERP integrations.
- Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in global and matrixed organisations.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Nice to Have
- Oracle Fusion Cloud certification.
- Experience with Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH).
- Knowledge of OTBI reporting and dashboards.
- Exposure to Procurement, Projects, Inventory, or Supply Chain modules.
- Product Owner, ERP Governance, or ERP Transformation experience.
