In this pivotal role, you will provide both technical leadership and hands-on engineering expertise across our digital experience platforms, with a primary focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and our broader web ecosystem. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Brand, Design, UX, and Field Marketing teams, you will shape platform strategy, guide the implementation of modern, scalable digital experiences, and lead a high-performing engineering team delivering impactful, data-driven, and increasingly AI-enhanced solutions across the customer journey.
Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
- Lead a team of web developers and QA engineers across AEM and related web platforms; set clear goals, conduct code reviews, and provide day-to-day technical guidance
- Own the architecture, development, and continuous optimization of Adobe Experience Manager (Sites and Assets) and adjacent digital platforms
- Design and implement integrated solutions across AEM, Marketo, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, and personalization or experimentation tools such as Optimizely
- Define and evolve a modern, API-driven architecture (headless or hybrid) for web experiences, including microservices, content APIs, and reusable component libraries
- Drive implementation of GDPR-compliant consent and cookie management on web properties in partnership with Legal, Security, and Marketing Operations
- Guide the design and rollout of tracking, analytics, and attribution frameworks that enable robust funnel insights, campaign measurement, and customer journey analytics
- Establish best practices for content authoring in AEM, enabling marketing and content teams to self-serve while preserving brand and UX standards
- Lead API integrations between AEM and key platforms (Marketo, Salesforce, PathFactory, 6sense, and others) to enable personalized, data-driven experiences across channels
- Ensure adherence to accessibility (e.g., WCAG), performance, security, and SEO best practices across all web experiences
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and evaluate AI-powered capabilities such as personalization, intelligent search, and content recommendations to improve digital experiences and engineering productivity
Be Prepared — What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise web development and digital platform engineering, including significant hands-on work with CMS-driven marketing sites in a B2B or SaaS environment
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component and template development, workflows, multi-site management, and integration with marketing and analytics tools

- Proven ability to design and implement scalable, API-driven, and modern digital experience solutions (headless or hybrid architectures) integrated with CRM, marketing automation, and data platforms
- Experience implementing tracking, analytics, and attribution strategies across digital channels and using data to inform UX, content, and performance optimization decisions
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards, web performance optimization, SEO best practices, and GDPR/consent frameworks for global web properties
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring engineering teams while remaining hands-on in architecture, solution design, and complex implementation
- Ability to partner effectively with marketing, UX, and business stakeholders, translating non-technical requirements into robust technical solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Working understanding of AI-powered digital experiences (AI-assisted development, intelligent search, content recommendations, and marketing automation) and curiosity to experiment with new AI capabilities responsibly
