Accountabilities:
- Execute established field service processes and procedures while maintaining high standards of quality and customer support.
- Perform on-site equipment installation, start-up, commissioning, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Diagnose technical issues involving mechanical, thermal, chemical, electrical, and control systems.
- Ensure field service projects are completed within established budgets, timelines, and customer expectations.
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal departments, and project teams to resolve issues and build strong relationships.
- Provide accurate reporting, documentation, and correspondence related to service activities, schedules, and project progress.
- Support planning and operational objectives through effective coordination with engineering, sales, and service teams.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company processes, technical information, customer data, pricing strategies, and business operations.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, promoting a zero-accident safety culture.
- Manage time efficiently while tracking deadlines, service requirements, and critical project information.
- Perform additional technical and operational duties as needed to support business objectives.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Field Service Specialist, Field Technician, or similar technical role.
- Engineering, electronics, or equivalent technical experience, training, or education; degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to travel extensively for customer support.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, equipment specifications, CAD drawings, and engineering materials.
- Experience making field modifications and supporting PLC/HMI programming, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of process instrumentation, including pressure, flow, and temperature transmitters, valve actuators, testing, and calibration.
- Experience with field service management tools and software.
- Knowledge of continuous emissions monitoring systems and industrial process equipment.
- Understanding of safe handling, storage, and operation of equipment involving hazardous chemicals.
- Familiarity with rotating equipment, including dampers, actuators, controls, and seal air fans.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and customers.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including interstate travel.
