Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lumber Puller / Material Handler to join our team in Greensboro. This role is responsible for pulling, staging, and preparing lumber and building materials for delivery to construction sites. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced warehouse/yard environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and stage lumber and building materials for outgoing orders
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
- Verify product accuracy (size, grade, and type) before shipment
- Load and prepare materials for delivery to job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, lumber yard, or construction materials preferred
- Forklift experience required (certification a plus)
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work early morning shifts and stay until work is completed
