Accountabilities:

    The Ford Automotive Warranty Administrator is responsible for managing warranty claims from review through payment while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strong dealership support. This role requires expertise in warranty processes, dealership systems, and manufacturer requirements, with a focus on maintaining efficient operations and helping partners improve performance.

    • Review warranty claims to ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
    • Process, book, close, and submit warranty claims for payment while maintaining accuracy throughout the lifecycle.
    • Investigate and resolve dealership warranty compliance issues using internal systems and available resources.
    • Reconcile payment differences, manage warranty receivable schedules, and support proper dealership cash flow.
    • Review technician stories and apply appropriate labor operations and coding requirements.
    • Maintain current knowledge of manufacturer policies, procedures, certifications, and warranty updates.
    • Identify dealership training opportunities and provide guidance to improve warranty administration practices.
    • Support dealership partners with professional communication and reliable warranty expertise.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced automotive warranty professional with a strong understanding of dealership operations, manufacturer warranty requirements, and warranty accounting processes. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting dealership clients.

      • Previous experience working as a Warranty Administrator within a franchised automotive dealership environment.
      • Demonstrated experience managing automotive warranty claims and related accounting processes.
      • Strong knowledge of automotive dealership service departments and warranty procedures.
      • Experience using dealership management systems (DMS) such as CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar platforms.
      • Ability to accurately interpret technician stories and apply correct labor operations and warranty codes.
      • Certification or training with at least one automotive manufacturer preferred.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple claims and priorities effectively.
      • Professional communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with dealership teams.
      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
