As a Tax Accountant, you’ll work closely with finance leaders and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand, gaining exposure to a broad range of tax matters while helping ensure we meet our obligations with accuracy, integrity, and commercial insight.

What you will do

  • Manage the tax compliance calendar, ensuring all filing, payment, and reporting obligations are completed accurately and on time across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Prepare and review tax provisions, calculations, and payments across direct and indirect taxes, supporting accurate financial reporting.
  • Support the preparation and submission of income tax returns and required regulatory schedules.
  • Deliver indirect tax obligations, including GST, BAS, fringe benefits tax, and payroll tax filings in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Partner with finance and business stakeholders to identify, assess, and communicate the tax implications of business activities and decisions.
  • Coordinate transfer pricing documentation, manufacturer margin reviews, customs reporting, and voluntary disclosure activities with corporate and external advisors.
  • Support audits, tax reporting, internal controls, and governance processes to maintain compliance and strengthen risk management.
  • Identify and implement process, controls, and data quality improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance outcomes.

What you will need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in taxation, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting direct and/or indirect tax compliance activities.
  • Working knowledge of Australian tax legislation and tax reporting requirements.
  • Full Australian work rights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Progress toward or completion of CA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience preparing or supporting income tax, GST, BAS, fringe benefits tax, or payroll tax obligations.
  • Experience within a multinational corporate environment or public practice accounting firm.
  • Exposure to transfer pricing, customs reporting, or tax governance activities.
