Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft Integration Broker solutions, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
- Build and support synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
- Develop data transformations using PeopleCode, Application Engine, XSLT, and related tools while ensuring maintainability and scalability.
- Configure and manage integration security, including WS-Security, OAuth2, certificates, and authentication frameworks.
- Implement error handling, monitoring, retry logic, and notification mechanisms for resilient integration flows.
- Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid and legacy integration patterns.
- Lead modernization efforts by migrating legacy point-to-point integrations into standardized Integration Broker frameworks.
- Optimize integration performance through queue management, parallel processing, and asynchronous design techniques.
- Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud and enterprise platforms such as Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow, and middleware tools.
- Provide production support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and integration design specifications.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and architects to define requirements and ensure alignment with engineering standards.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in PeopleSoft development with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
- Strong proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
- Solid understanding of web service security standards including WS-Security and OAuth2.
- Strong SQL skills and deep familiarity with PeopleSoft data structures.
- Experience integrating PeopleSoft with middleware platforms such as OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi is a plus.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues in production environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to document and explain technical solutions clearly.
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and production releases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and API management concepts is highly desirable.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000, based on experience
