Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation planning and execution for new RCM clients, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, risk mitigation, and deliverables tracking.
- Facilitate kickoff sessions and ongoing governance meetings with client stakeholders to align on scope, success criteria, and implementation strategy.
- Manage all onboarding phases including AR file conversion, legacy receivables transition, and claims run-out processes.
- Coordinate technical setup including system access, EHR/practice management integration, EDI transactions (837/835/270/271/276/277), clearinghouse connectivity, and payer enrollment.
- Lead workflow design sessions to establish client-specific SOPs across billing, registration, eligibility, denials, payment posting, and AR follow-up.
- Serve as the primary client contact during implementation, managing expectations, scope changes, escalation points, and executive-level communications.
- Oversee go-live execution and stabilization, ensuring smooth cutover, command center support, and achievement of early performance KPIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, IT, finance, reporting, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation delivery and post-launch continuity.
- 5–7+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with 2–3+ years in implementation, project management, transition leadership, or client-facing RCM roles.
- Proven experience onboarding hospital or physician practice clients onto outsourced RCM or healthcare revenue cycle platforms.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end RCM workflows, including patient access, billing, denial management, AR follow-up, payment posting, and reporting.
- Knowledge of healthcare data exchange processes (EDI 837/835, payer enrollment, clearinghouse operations) and healthcare systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, athenahealth, NextGen, or similar.
- Strong project management skills with experience using tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to executive-level clients (CFOs, RCM leaders).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to manage complex operational transitions.
- Comfort using AI-enabled tools and digital platforms to improve efficiency, decision-making, and workflow optimization is highly valued.
